Phil Smith

Phil Smith has extensive experience in sports management, currently serving as Head of Sport at the British Paralympic Association since August 2005, where responsibilities include the development and execution of the Performance Strategy and fostering excellence in ParalympicsGB ahead of the Summer and Winter Paralympic Games. Additionally, Phil Smith has held significant roles such as Chef de Mission for the Beijing 2022 Paralympic Winter Games and Deputy Chef de Mission for both the Tokyo 2020 and PyeongChang 2018 Paralympic Games. Other recent contributions include being Birmingham Cluster Lead for Commonwealth Games England during the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games and serving as a Trustee for the Sussex Cricket Foundation. Phil Smith holds a Post Graduate Certificate in Sports Management from Royal Holloway, University of London, and a degree in Business Studies from The University of Salford.
