The initiative’s purpose is to support acceleration of the world’s transition to sustainability.

SPSC ambassadors make a pro-bono community of sustainability supporters -  individuals as well as organisations. 

There is no time and no financial commitment, confirmation or contribution expected from any ambassador. 

SPSC Ambassador practice sustainability in their own personal & professional lives while buying/using/disposing products and services. So basically they are active supporter of sustainability in their own life. They have a choice to actively participate in sustainability projects.

Potential benefits to an individual:
1. Opportunity to get recognised through awards & accolades.
2. Add SPSC logo to CV, LinkedIn, Glassdoor  etc.
3. Add sustainability experience through SPSC projects on CV or LinkedIn profile.
4. Add sustainability skills earned through SPSC projects on LinkedIn profile.
5. Request recommendations from their ambassador colleagues personally or through LinkedIn and Facebook.
6. Learn from other sustainability experts. 
7. Mentor other sustainability enthusiasts or students. This is to support UN SDG Goal 4 Target 4.7
8. Promote sustainability assessment and reporting to support UN SDG Goal 12 Target 12.6.
9. Champion, Fellow and Associate may get a chance to gain financially.
