Peter W. L. Lau

Peter W. L. Lau, CFA CGMA, currently serves as Investment Director at Sustainable Development Capital (Asia) Limited, where responsibilities include the origination, evaluation, execution, and management of investments in energy efficiency and renewable energy projects across the Asia-Pacific region. In addition, Peter has held the role of Assistant Honorary Secretary and Council Member at the Sustainable Energy Association of Singapore since May 2016, contributing to the interests of the sustainable energy sector. Previously, Peter worked in Principal Investments and Investment Banking at HSBC Global Banking and Markets from 2005 to 2012, focusing on private equity investments across various global markets, and also held a position in accounting and finance at Amec Foster Wheeler from 2001 to 2005. Peter earned an M.B.A. from the University of Southampton Business School in 2001 and has an educational background that includes institutions such as the University of Surrey, King's College, Taunton, and St. Joseph's College in Hong Kong.
