Brian McIntyre

Brian McIntyre is a Programme Manager at the Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland (SEAI), where responsibilities include overseeing High Performance Building Technologies and executing the Deep Retrofit Pilot Programme aimed at upgrading Irish residential buildings to A3 energy efficiency standards. Since joining SEAI in April 2017, Brian has focused on developing models for a nationwide Deep Retrofit Programme. Prior to SEAI, Brian worked at RPS Group as a Senior Scientist, leading the SEAI's 'Energy Hotline' project, which provided technical assistance on energy efficiency in the built environment. Brian holds a B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Experimental Physics and Environmental Engineering from University College Dublin, completed between 1999 and 2004.
