Madhu Murali

Madhu Murali is a Programme Executive at the Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland (SEAI) since June 2025, following a Postdoctoral Research Fellowship at Trinity College Dublin from September 2020 to June 2025, focusing on heat recovery from wastewater in the Zambian food and beverage sector as part of the REHEATZ project. Prior experience includes research on wastewater efficiency in Ireland and Wales during the Dŵr Uisce project, serving as a Technical Advisor at Water Corporation in Western Australia from October 2019 to August 2020, and completing a PhD in Environmental/Environmental Health Engineering at The University of Western Australia from 2014 to 2019. Additional roles include a Scientific Officer at WA Health and a Graduate Environmental Engineer at Water Corporation, where responsibilities included managing wastewater recycling evaluations and developing response protocols. Madhu holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Environmental and Renewable Energy from Murdoch University.
