Mark Bethell is the current Chief Executive Officer of Sustainable Food Center, where Mark oversees various aspects of the organization such as revenue, stakeholder engagement, budgeting, fundraising, and talent acquisition. Prior to this role, Mark has held leadership positions in healthcare organizations such as Independence Center, Springwoods Behavioral Health, and Gateway Regional Medical Center. Mark has a Master's degree in Health Care Administration from The George Washington University School of Business and a Bachelor of Science in Sociology from the University of Lynchburg.

With our new mission to transform the food system to nourish our health, land, and livelihood, SFC is laying the groundwork for our next phase as an organization.
