Mariliis Holm is a prominent figure in the food and sustainability sectors, currently serving as a Founding Member of BIOME Consortia, which focuses on mapping Earth's microbiome to combat biodiversity loss. As Co-Founder and Partner at Sustainable Food Ventures, Mariliis supports early-stage food companies that are plant-based, cell-based, and recombinant. Mariliis is also the Founder of the North Carolina Future of Food Coalition, driving the future food ecosystem in the region. Mariliis's educational background includes master's degrees in Food Innovation and Product Design and participation in a leadership program in Sustainability Studies.
