Melissa Murray

Melissa Murray serves as the Head of Operations at Sustainable Ocean Alliance since July 2021, previously holding roles as Director of Finance & Operations and Finance & Operations Manager. In addition to this position, Melissa is the Founder of the Dorian J. Murray Foundation, which aims to raise awareness and support for pediatric cancer research and families in need. Prior experience includes working as an Accounting Manager, Senior Accountant, and Bookkeeper at New Economy (September 2018 - July 2021), Finance Manager at the University of Rhode Island Research Foundation (November 2017 - October 2018), and various accounting positions at companies such as Mystic Oil Company, Applied Science Associates, Brooks/Eckerd Pharmacy, and Westerly Community Credit Union, spanning from 2002 to 2015.
