Stefan Kovacs has a diverse range of work experience. Stefan started their career in 2011 at Hotel Timisoara, where they worked as a Front Desk Receptionist and later as a Marketing Specialist. In 2016, they transitioned to Morningstar Sustainalytics, where they held various positions. Stefan started as an Analyst, specializing in ESG performance analysis for global companies. Within a few months, they became the main reviewer for the Consumer Focused Pillar Team. In 2018, Stefan moved to a role as a Software Developer, where they maintained and developed features for in-house products. In 2020, they were promoted to Senior Software Developer and then to Lead Software Engineer in 2022. Currently, they hold the position of Principal Software Architect.

Stefan Kovacs holds a Master's degree in Artificial Intelligence and Distributed Computing from the West University of Timisoara. Stefan also has a Bachelor's degree in Economics from the Universitatea Ioan Slavici Timisoara and a High School Diploma in Mathematics and Computer Science from C. D. Loga Timisoara.
