Matthew Hawker

Matthew Hawker is an experienced technology and operations leader currently serving as the Director of Engineering Operations at SustainCERT since July 2023. Previously, Matthew held roles such as Senior Manager of Development at Kneip and Project Lead at Kreios S.à r.l., where responsibilities included managing various development projects with diverse teams. Earlier career highlights include serving as IT Director at EurActiv.com, overseeing significant platform migrations and system implementations. Matthew began their professional journey in IT as an Information Technology Manager at Easy Languages, further refining skills as a consultant and through military service in the United States Army. Matthew holds an MBA from Solvay Brussels School of Economics and Management and advanced degrees in Political Science and International Relations from Université catholique de Louvain and the University of San Francisco.
