Aman Khapoya has a diverse work experience in the automotive and manufacturing industry. Aman started their career at Ford Motor Company as a Product Design Engineer, where they worked on various projects including body structures for the Ford Focus and chassis components for the Ford Mustang. Aman then moved on to Nissan North America, where they served as Manager of Value Network Optimization, leading a team of engineers in cost reduction projects. At Nissan Motor Company, they held multiple roles including Manager of Process Engineering, Manager of Production Purchasing, and Planner of Cross-Carline Product Planning. In these roles, they were responsible for sourcing parts, coordinating planning for new vehicle technologies, and addressing regulatory issues. Finally, they joined Suterra as Director of Operations, Senior Director of Global Operations, and eventually Vice President of Global Operations. In these roles, they had broad responsibilities including supply chain management, production, quality, engineering, and safety. Aman focused on delivering improvements in safety, quality, delivery, and cost across all product lines and successfully launched new products at commercial scale.
Aman Khapoya attended Dartmouth College from 1995 to 1999, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) and a Bachelor of Science in Engineering (BSE) in Mechanical Engineering. Aman then pursued further education at Dartmouth College from 1999 to 2001, earning a Master of Engineering Management (MEM) degree, specializing in Engineering Management. Later, from 2006 to 2008, Aman attended the Harvard Business School, where they completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a focus on General Management.
