Otara Mills is a seasoned professional with diverse experience in the insurance and music industries. Currently serving as an Insurance Agent with Sutherland since January 2023, Otara specializes in commercial insurance policies. Previously, Otara held the role of Outreach Coordinator at Healthkeeperz since October 2018 and worked as an Insurance Agent at NC Farm Bureau from October 2009 to October 2013. In addition to insurance roles, Otara has been the owner/operator of OT Mills Music since January 1988, excelling as a DJ, music producer, and audio engineer, with expertise in wedding and club performances as well as marketing and SEO. Otara holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in American Indian/Native American Studies from the University of North Carolina at Pembroke, earned between 1991 and 1996.
