Alan Nguyen

Alan Nguyen, Ph.D. currently holds the position of Scientist at Sutro Biopharma, Inc. where Alan is involved in conducting cell-based assays and experiments. Prior to their current role, Alan pursued their Doctor of Philosophy degree in Immunology at the University of California, Davis. Alan also worked as a Laboratory Technician at UC Irvine and was involved in a research project focusing on the serine/threonine protein kinase DRAK2's role in autoimmunity and immuno-metabolism. During their time as a Student Researcher, Alan designed experiments for a project related to DRAK2 and its impact on autoimmunity, T cell survival, and immunometabolism. Alan also gained experience as a Teaching Assistant at Sylvan Learning Centers.
