Chris Waugh

Chris Waugh is an experienced executive in healthcare and design, currently serving as Vice President Chief Design & Innovation Officer at Sutter Health since October 2015, where the focus is on making healthcare more accessible and engaging. Prior to this role, Chris was Vice President Chief Marketing Officer at Sutter Health, contributing to one of the largest not-for-profit healthcare networks in the United States. Between November 2013 and October 2015, Chris held the position of Vice President of Design at One Medical Group, leading initiatives in patient experience and service design. Chris co-founded IDEO's Active Health domain while serving as Practice Lead Health & Wellness and has held various leadership roles at IDEO, including Associate Partner and Co-Founder of the Food & Beverage Practice. Earlier experience includes serving as Global Marketing Manager for Specialized Bicycle Components, where Chris focused on brand and product strategy. Chris holds a Bachelor's Degree in International Business from Fort Lewis College and participated in an exchange program in Business Administration and Management at École Supérieure de Commerce Et de Management.
