Nicole Cortez

Nicole Cortez is a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer currently employed at Sutter Health since November 2023 and has been with Washington Hospital Healthcare System since June 2020. Nicole’s professional background includes various healthcare roles such as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer, Sonography Student, and Intensive Care Unit Clerk. Prior experience includes positions as a Practice Coordinator at UCSF Medical Center, Public Affairs Intern at Planned Parenthood Mar Monte, and Project Intern for the Nevada Department of Veterans Services. Nicole also gained managerial and customer service experience at Red's Broken Bat BBQ and served as a Public Health Biology Teacher Assistant at the University of Nevada, Reno. Nicole holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Community Health Science from the University of Nevada, Reno and has completed a program at Contra Costa Medical Career College.
