Fay De Winter is an accomplished ceramics professional with extensive experience in education and event coordination. Currently, Fay operates as the Business Owner of State of Clay since July 2019 and has served as a Ceramics Teacher at Morley College and Sutton College since 2015 and 2005, respectively. In addition to teaching roles, Fay has held various positions at Sutton College including Programme Leader, Curriculum Manager, Quality Assurance Specialist, Ceramics Technician, and Gallery Manager. Fay’s leadership in the ceramic arts community is evident through past roles as Chair and Programmes Co-ordinator for London Potters and as an Associate Members Representative for the Craft Potters Association of Great Britain Limited. Fay has organised over 80 events featuring professional ceramicists and has contributed to exhibitions at notable institutions such as the Victoria and Albert Museum. Educational qualifications include a Master of Arts in Ceramic Arts and Ceramics from the University for the Creative Arts, a Diploma in Adult and Continuing Education from Canterbury Christ Church University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Ceramic Arts from the University of the Arts London.
