Eero Varjonen is a seasoned product development engineer with extensive experience in antenna design for various mobile and wearable devices. Currently at Suunto since October 2016, Eero focuses on designing antennas and antenna systems for wrist-worn devices and diving computers. Prior to this role, Eero held specialist positions at Microsoft and Nokia, where responsibilities included mobile antenna design and prototyping for various technologies such as 4G, WiFi, GNSS, and NFC. Eero's career began at Nokia, progressing from a senior design engineer to a specialist in antennas, contributing to the design and execution of mobile antenna systems for several generations of mobile technology. Eero holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Telecommunications Engineering from Turku Polytechnic, obtained in 2003.
