Anabell Castro Thompson MSN, APRN, NP-C, FAANP, FAAN

Anabell Castro Thompson has extensive experience in healthcare leadership and community advocacy. Anabell Castro is currently serving as the Senior Vice President at Suvida Healthcare, a position they have held since February 2023.

Prior to their current role, Anabell held various leadership positions at Equality Health. From May 2017 to February 2023, they served as the Senior Vice President of Health Equity, where they focused on promoting health equity within the organization. From September 2016 to May 2017, they held the role of Vice President of Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion.

Anabell also had a significant role at the National Association of Hispanic Nurses Inc. from July 2016 to July 2018, where they served as President and contributed to advancing the mission of the organization.

Earlier in their career, Anabell worked at Hospice of the Valley as the Hispanic Program Director and Nurse Practitioner. During their time there from July 2010 to July 2016, they developed a culturally competent model of care to improve utilization and service delivery to the Hispanic community. This involved various responsibilities such as daily management of internal operations, education, outreach, and business development activities.

Through their work experience, Anabell has demonstrated a strong commitment to improving healthcare access and outcomes for diverse communities, particularly the Hispanic population.

Anabell Castro Thompson has a Bachelor's Degree from the University of Arizona. Anabell Castro pursued further education at Arizona State University where they specialized in Adult Nurse Practitioner.
