Sameer Shah is an accomplished financial executive with over 25 years of experience in various industries. Sameer is currently an Independent Director at Suzlon, and has previously held leadership positions at Deutsche Bank, Suzlon Energy Limited, Conexus Strategics, and SBG PCM.

Shah began their career in 1982 as an Analyst at Tata Consultancy Services. Sameer quickly rose through the ranks and became a Senior Financial Analyst at SABIC in 1992. In 1996, they left SABIC to join SBG PCM as their Finance & Administration Manager.

In 1999, Shah joined Deutsche Bank as their Managing Director for Global Equities Services in Asia Pacific. Sameer held this position for 13 years until leaving Deutsche Bank in 2012. Shah then rejoined Suzlon Energy Limited, where they worked until taking their current position as an Independent Director at Suzlon.

Sameer Shah has an MBA in Finance and Information Systems from the University of Rochester - Simon Business School, as well as an AMCT in Treasury from the Association of Corporate Treasurers. Sameer also has a Post-graduate Diploma in Securities Law from the Government Law College and a Bachelor's Degree from the University of Mumbai. Sameer is also certified as an Independent Director by the Indian Institute of Corporate Affairs.
