Registered Suzuki Euphonium & Tuba Teacher (level 2) at Suzuki Association of the Americas

Danny Vinson is a seasoned low brass educator and performer with extensive experience in teaching and ensemble participation. Currently serving as a Registered Suzuki Euphonium & Tuba Teacher at the Suzuki Association of the Americas since June 2022, Danny also holds the position of Euphoniumist with Alchemy, America's first professional euphonium-tuba quartet, since November 1984. Danny's teaching career includes roles at several institutions, including Kilgore College, East Texas Baptist University, the University of Houston, and the University of Texas at Tyler, where instruction focuses on euphonium, tuba, and low brass techniques. As a Second Trombone with the Longview Symphony Orchestra and a participant in the Houston Grand Opera, Danny contributes significantly to both performance and education, alongside participation in the Internationaler Horn-Tuba Workshop, aimed at enhancing amateur brass musicians' skills. Danny's educational background includes pursuing a Doctorate in Music Performance at the University of North Texas and earning degrees in Music Education from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and the University of North Texas.
