With almost 50,000 members, SV Werder Bremen are one of the biggest and most historic sports clubs in Germany, with men's professional football at the heart of the organisation. One of the founding members of the Bundesliga, the Green-Whites have won four league and six DFB-Pokal titles so far, with victory in the 1992 UEFA Cup Winners' Cup the greatest triumph in Sport-Verein "Werder" von 1899 e.V.'s 125-year history.
