Omid Taheri Qazvini Ph. D.

Omid Taheri Qazvini, Ph. D., currently serves as Team Lead for R&D MOF Development at Svante, where leadership involves designing and developing metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) for carbon capture. Previous experience includes roles as a MOF Research and Development Scientist, Postdoctoral Research Associate at the University of Alberta and The University of Manchester, where contributions included the development of MOF materials for carbon capture applications, construction of TSA systems, and modeling for gas separation processes. Before that, Omid contributed to the commercialization of a novel MOF at Massey Ventures Ltd and engaged in research on gas separation at Massey University and the University of Tehran. Educational qualifications encompass a PhD in Material Chemistry from Massey University and master's and bachelor's degrees in Chemical Engineering from the University of Tehran.
