Tarannum Desai Pachigar

Tarannum Desai Pachigar has a diverse work experience spanning over 15 years. Tarannum is currently the Head of Learning and Development at Svatantra Microfin Pvt. Ltd, a position they started in November 2020. Prior to that, they worked at Edelweiss Tokio Life Insurance from December 2017 to October 2020, specializing in leadership development. Tarannum also held various roles at Aditya Birla Sun Life Insurance from 2008 to 2017, including National Manager of L&D - HDFC Relationship and Content Lead. Before that, they worked in marketing and sales roles at Kotak Mahindra Old Mutual Life Insurance, Sify Technologies Limited, and Modern Terry Towels Ltd.

Tarannum Desai Pachigar completed a Management Development Program in Organizational Behavior Studies at the Indian Institute of Management, Indore from 2018 to 2019. Tarannum also pursued a degree in Organizational Development and Change at the Tata Institute of Social Sciences during the same time frame. In 2015-2016, Tarannum obtained the designation of Fellow, Life Management Institute (FLMI) from the Life Office Management Association (LOMA), with coursework covering areas such as insurance, accounting, marketing, information systems, finance, law, management, and computers. Prior to that, they obtained a Licentiate degree in Insurance from the Insurance Institute of India between 2008 and 2010. In 2003, Tarannum completed their Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) with a specialization in Marketing/Marketing Management, General, from B.K. School of Professional and Management Studies. Tarannum holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Applications from Som-Lalit Institute of Computer Application, obtained in 2000. Tarannum Desai Pachigar also completed their Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) in Business/Commerce, General from Mount Carmel School between 1998 and 2000.
