Ryan Howat

Ryan Howat, CPA, MSA has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Ryan has held various roles in finance, accounting, and wealth management. Ryan's most recent position was at SVB Capital where they worked as a Finance Director starting in February 2023. Prior to this, they served as a Business Unit Controller at SVB Capital from April 2019 to February 2023.

Before joining SVB Capital, Ryan worked at SS&C Technologies. Ryan started as an Assistant Vice President in March 2016, later becoming a Vice President from January 2017 to December 2018. Ryan also held the position of Associate Director from January 2019 to April 2019 at SS&C Technologies.

Prior to SS&C Technologies, Ryan worked as an Assistant Vice President - Securities Processing Manager at Citi from August 2013 to March 2016. Ryan also gained experience as a Fund Accountant at SolarCity from January 2012 to August 2013.

Ryan's career began in 2007 at Sensiba San Filippo LLP, where they worked as a Senior Associate from September 2007 to November 2011. Before that, they had earlier roles as a Tax Intern at CBIZ MHM, LLC from January 2007 to April 2007.

Ryan gained valuable experience in wealth management during their internships at Hinds Financial Group and UBS Wealth Management in 2006. At Hinds Financial Group, they performed valuation and market analysis, developed portfolios, and created reporting requirements for top clients. At UBS Wealth Management, Ryan gained further exposure to wealth management operations.

Ryan also has prior experience as a Sales Assistant at Inns of Distinction in 2003.

Ryan Howat, CPA, MSA earned a Master of Science in Accounting with a focus on Accounting - Audit from the University of Colorado Boulder - Leeds School of Business in 2007. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from the same institution in 2007 as well.
