Adam Svanell

Adam Svanell has a diverse range of work experience in the media industry. Adam began their career as an intern at Svenska Dagbladet in 2007, and later worked as a reporter for Kristianstadsbladet before returning to Svenska Dagbladet as a reporter in 2008. In 2009, they worked as a reporter for Fokus and as a producer/interviewer for House of Radon. In 2011, they joined Sveriges Radio as a researcher/reporter for a year. Adam returned to Svenska Dagbladet in 2012 and held various roles, including reporter and editor, until 2017. From 2017 to 2022, they worked as a Longread Editor at Svenska Dagbladet. Currently, Adam is serving as the Head of Documentary at Svenska Dagbladet since May 2022.

Adam Svanell attended the University of Gothenburg from 2002 to 2005, where they studied Sociology. Subsequently, they pursued a degree in Journalism from the same institution from 2005 to 2007.
