Erik Svensson

Erik Svensson has extensive experience in the energy sector, currently serving as a member of the System Operation Committee and various working groups at ENTSO-E since 2012, while also contributing as a Civil Expert in the Energy Planning Group for NATO since February 2024. At Svenska kraftnät, where Erik has held multiple roles since 1998, key positions include Senior Strategy Analyst for Power System, Grid Supervisor, and Coordinator for ENTSO-E issues. Erik also has a strong background in operational planning, balancing engineering, and IT development related to the Nordic Operational Information System. Additional leadership experience includes serving as a member and past chairman of the Operational Board for the Nordic RSC. Erik's academic credentials include studies at KTH Royal Institute of Technology, Tieto, and Stockholm University.
