Jakob Sahlin

Jakob Sahlin is a Power System Analyst at Svenska kraftnät since August 2016, with a background in energy management and microgrid systems. Previously, Jakob engaged in a summer project on Residential Microgrid Management at KTH Royal Institute of Technology in 2014, focusing on simulation and evaluation of Energy Management Systems for residential micro-grids. In 2014, Jakob conducted a field study in Tanzania for a Bachelor Thesis in collaboration with Vi Agroforestry, investigating the advantages and disadvantages of solar power in rural areas. Educational qualifications include a degree from KTH Royal Institute of Technology and a brief study period at California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo.
