Svante Nygren

Svante Nygren is an experienced professional in information security, currently serving as an Information Security Specialist and Acting CISO at Svenska kraftnät since August 2018. Prior roles include Team Leader in Information Security and various analyst positions focused on strategic analysis, operational cyber security, and IT incidents at the Swedish Civil Contingencies Agency (MSB) from January 2009 to August 2018. Nygren began a career at Krisberedskapsmyndigheten as a Senior Analyst in Information Assurance from December 2006 to December 2008, also holding the CISO title. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication/Media Studies from the University of Gothenburg and a CIAO in Computer and Information Systems Security/Information Assurance from the Swedish Defence University.
