Kaisa Huuva is an experienced researcher and policy advisor with a strong background in social anthropology and indigenous issues. Currently serving as a researcher at Svenska kyrkan since April 2023, Kaisa Huuva has previously held roles including investigation secretary at Regeringskansliet, Kulturdepartementet, and doctoral candidate at Umeå universitet. Kaisa Huuva's extensive experience includes work on resilience and historical trauma among the South Sámi population, as well as contributions to social child and youth care policies and Sámi political issues. Additional roles involved project leadership focused on the living conditions of Sámi individuals with disabilities in the Nordic region and management of cultural and language activities at Sametinget. Kaisa Huuva holds a master's degree in social anthropology from Stockholm University, supplemented by studies at Tromsö and Uppsala universities.
