Maria Scharffenberg

Maria Scharffenberg has over two decades of experience in various clerical and administrative roles within the Svenska kyrkan, currently serving as Kyrkoherde in Toronto, Canada, while also holding the title of Mobil Präst Nordamerika. Previous positions include Kyrkoherde and Vikarierande Kyrkoherde in the Netherlands, Berlin, and across Central Europe, alongside roles as Komminister and Pastorsadjunkt. In addition to ecclesiastical duties, Maria Scharffenberg has been serving as PR-chef at Europäische Sommelier Schule since January 2019. An educational background from Lund University culminated in a Teologie Kanditatexamen in Religion/Religious Studies, complemented by further studies at Europäische Sommelier Schule, resulting in qualifications as a Sommelier and Dozent.
