Dan Gibson has a diverse work experience, starting as a Freelance Designer/Illustrator/Production Management at Ahlmqvist&Wiksell Book Publisher/Liber Book Publisher in 1992. Dan then worked as a Graphic Designer at Nordpool Inhouse in 1994 and later joined Volt Advertising Agency as a Graphic Designer/Illustrator/Photographer. In 1998, they became an Art Director/Graphic Designer at Bonnier Lexikon, where they focused on art direction, pedagogical layout, and visual development. Dan then joined Graffiti Advertising Agency as an Art Director/Graphic Designer, working on projects such as Electrolux and Saab-Scania. In 2002, they joined NCC as an Art Director, responsible for implementing the company's graphic identity in all Scandinavian countries. In 2018, they worked as a Digital Designer intern at The Generation AB and as a student at Berghs School of Communication. In 2019, they worked as a Visual Designer at Visual Art and is currently working as an Art Director at Sveriges Allmännytta, where they are responsible for developing a new graphic identity.

Dan Gibson's education history is as follows:

From 1996 to 1997, they attended Hultenheims Typographic "Skola Antiqua" where they pursued Typographic Education.

In 1990, they studied Basic Fashion Design at the Fashion Institute of Technology.

Between 1988 and 1990, they were enrolled at The Art Students League of New York, although the degree and field of study are unknown.

In 1988 and 1989, they pursued Conceptual Illustration and Basic Graphic Design at the School of Visual Arts.

From 1987 to 1988, Dan Gibson studied Bildinformation at Nyckelviksskolan.

In 1986, they completed Military Service at Berga Navy School.

Dan'seducation began at the Social Scientific Gymnasium, Haga, in 1983, where they studied until 1986.
