David Karlsson

David Karlsson has extensive experience in the technology and media sectors, currently serving as Head of Online Distribution and previously as Development Manager for Streaming at Sveriges Television since February 2015. Prior to that, Karlsson was the Streaming Tech Lead at Millicom International Cellular, where the focus was on creating an SVOD OTT service for the LATAM market. Karlsson also has a history of owning Bergafjärden Invest, which specialized in trading financial securities, and had a significant role as Head of DM at Qbrick, developing video transcoding platforms. Additional positions include Board Member at MusicBay and various technical roles in support and consulting in the tech industry, including CTO at Adana and Apple Technician at AKM Datorsystem. Education includes a degree in Computer and Microelectronics from Timrå Gymnasium and a background in control engineering technology.
