Arturo Alfaro

Arturo Alfaro has a consistent work history starting in 2009 at the Instituto Interamericano de Derechos Humanos as a Web Programmer until 2013. From 2013 to 2016, Arturo worked as a Java developer at RLM Apparel Software Systems. In 2016, Arturo joined Gorilla Logic, initially as a Java Senior Developer and later as a Technical Lead until 2022. Currently, Arturo works as a Senior Cloud Engineer at Svitla Systems, Inc.

Arturo Alfaro obtained a Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering from the Universidad Nacional de Costa Rica, studying from 2003 to 2011. In 2016 to 2017, they pursued language and literature courses in Japanese, obtaining the JLPT N5 certification from the Centro Cultural Japones.

In addition to their formal education, Arturo has obtained various certifications. In 2018, they completed "The Data Scientist's Toolbox" course from Coursera. In 2021, they completed "Learning Docker" and "Learning Kubernetes" courses from LinkedIn. In 2022, they obtained certifications in "GitOps Fundamentals" from Codefresh, "Liquibase Fundamentals Certification" from Liquibase, "AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner" and "AWS Partner: Accreditation (Technical)" from Amazon Web Services (AWS).
