Nicholas Harvey

Mr. Harvey is a member of the European investment team and an operating partner working across several portfolio companies.

Before joining SVPGlobal in 2019, Mr. Harvey was a Senior Director on the Private Equity Performance Improvement team at Alvarez & Marsal, where he supported private equity clients in pre-deal operational due diligence and value creation plan development for new acquisitions. He started his consulting career at Deloitte as part of the Post Merger Integration team. Before consulting, Mr. Harvey held various management roles, including R&D Project Manager at a Danaher portfolio medical devices company in Denmark and Production Manager of a start-up in China manufacturing cargo/utility trailers. He started his career in the research laboratories of Houghton International, a specialty chemicals producer based in the US, before taking on various site manager roles for manufacturing and automotive clients in the U.S and China.

Mr. Harvey holds an MBA with a concentration in Change Management from London Business School, and a BSc in Chemical Engineering from Lafayette College, Pennsylvania. He also studied Mandarin Chinese at Yantai University in China, and at IESE Business School in Barcelona as part of the MBA exchange program.
