Chamika Rathnayake is an experienced audio professional currently serving as the Lead AV Technician at SW Event Technology since September 2022. Prior to this role, Chamika worked as a Live Sound Engineer for Line One Band from August 2018 to September 2022, specializing in FOH mixing and system engineering for live performances in Sri Lanka. Earlier experience includes a position as a Live Sound Engineer at Swedish Trading Audio Visual Pvt. Ltd. from March 2012 to August 2018. Chamika's educational background encompasses an Advance Diploma in Audio Engineering from Pearlbay Institute (2021-present), a System Design & Measurement degree in Live Sound from Audio Academy (2014), an Avid Venue 3.0 certification from Ansata Computer Systems PVT LTD (2013), a National Diploma in Television Programme Production Technology from the University of Vocational Technology (2013-2014), and an Advanced Level qualification from Royal College Colombo 7 (2002-2010) focusing on Physics, Combined Mathematics, and Chemistry.
