Junzhi Yu

Junzhi Yu is a skilled landscape designer with extensive experience in the field. Currently serving as a Mid-Level Landscape Designer at SWA since April 2025, Junzhi previously held the role of Landscape Project Director at RIOS, successfully guiding various US domestic projects through the SD to CD phase, including urban design and large-scale sports campuses. As Principal Landscape Designer at J.Y. Studio, a position held from February 2019 to August 2023, Junzhi collaborated with US-based design firms on projects in China while focusing on business development and client relationships. Additional experience includes roles at Z+T Studio and Terrain Studio, where responsibilities encompassed design, client engagement, and marketing. Junzhi began the professional journey as a Landscape Architecture Intern at Boffa Miskell Limited and as an Assistant Landscape Designer at GN International Design LLC. Educational qualifications include a Master of Landscape Architecture from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and a Bachelor of Architectural Studies from Victoria University of Wellington.
