Shanmukha Sai Uppala

Shanmukha Sai Uppala serves as the Founding Director on the board of Real Konkan Farmer Producer Company under Swades Foundation, focusing on agricultural and food processing initiatives in rural Maharashtra since March 2022. Responsibilities include overseeing operational turnaround, factory setup, and profit and loss management, as well as expanding sales channels and establishing D2C platforms. Prior experience includes roles as the Founding Team member and Managing Editor at The ArmChair Journal and State Project Officer at FREND, where efforts concentrated on promoting digital literacy and socio-economic development in rural India. Shanmukha holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Liberal Studies from Ashoka University and a Bachelor's degree in Business/Commerce from Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Learning.
