Renee Pontious

Renee Pontious is an accomplished professional with expertise in both martial arts instruction and IT asset management. As the owner and instructor at Dragon Hide Defense since November 2021, Renee focuses on empowering women through self-defense training. Concurrently, Renee serves as the Administrator IT Acquisitions Sr. at Swagelok, managing software assets and various agreements. Previous roles include software engineering and asset management at PNC and Thermo Fisher Scientific, and IT support at Clarion Industries, alongside experience in aquatics coordination at DuBois YMCA. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science and Information Systems/Business Management from PennWest Clarion and an Associate's Degree in Electrical Engineering from Penn State University.
