Romain Rouquier

Romain Rouquier's work experience begins in 2006 as a Process and Quality Control Analyst at Alcatel-Lucent. Romain then moved on to roles such as Business Analyst at Societe Generale, Market Risk Analyst at BNP Paribas, and Market Risk Analyst for Natixis at Altran. In 2013, they joined Interactive Data as a Fixed Income Analyst, and in 2014, they founded Snapkin. Romain then worked as a Practice Manager - Data and Innovation at Maltem Consulting Group from 2017 to 2018. Romain Rouquier then took on roles at South China Morning Post SCMP, serving as a Director of Data from 2019 to 2021 and Vice-President of Data from 2021 to 2022. Their most recent position is as Vice President Data at Swan, starting from February 2023.

Romain Rouquier has a strong education background in the fields of Financial Engineering and Computer Science. Romain obtained a Master's degree in Financial Engineering from ESSEC Business School from 2011 to 2013. Prior to that, they completed their first Master's degree in Computer Science at Université de Technologie de Compiègne (UTC) from 2005 to 2008. During their studies at UTC, they also participated in an exchange program at the University of Twente in 2008.
