Joey Rousseau has a solid work experience in the IT industry. Joey started their career at Harel Mallac Technologies in 2010 as an Implementation & Support Technician, where they provided IT support and troubleshooting services to clients. Joey also implemented new IT equipment at client sites and provided daily reports of their work. In 2014, Joey moved to Grant Thornton Mauritius as an IT Support Technician, where they continued to provide IT support services until 2014. In the same year, they joined SWAN Mauritius as an IT Technician and later became the Network & System Coordinator in 2017. Currently, Joey holds the position of Head of Support at SWAN Mauritius, a role they have been serving since February 2020.

Joey Rousseau has a history of education in the field of Information Technology. In 2002-2007, they attended London College and obtained a School Certificate. Following this, in 2008, they enrolled in the School of Information Technology for a brief period. Joey continued their studies in 2009 at the School of Information Technology, specializing in Information Technology again. In 2011-2012, they pursued an International Diploma in Computer Studies at AEA Training Centre. Moreover, in 2013-2014, they furthered their education in Information Technology and earned a Level 5 Diploma in Business Information Technology from the same institution.
