Wael Mohamed

Wael Mohamed is a highly experienced Consultant Medical Oncologist currently serving as a locum at Swansea Bay University Health Board since December 2020. Prior roles include lecturer of oncology at Port Said University from March 2018 to November 2020, and various leadership positions at King Abdullah Medical City in Makkah, including Co-Chair of the Research Committee and Head of the Education Committee at the Jeddah Oncology Center. Wael's extensive career in oncology began in 2001 with the Ministry of Health as a Consultant Oncologist and includes a notable tenure as an Assistant Consultant Oncologist at KAMC. Wael holds advanced degrees in oncology, including a PhD from Cairo University, a Master's degree from Ulm University, and several certificates in medical education and next-generation sequencing from prestigious institutions.
