Matt Smith

Matt Smith started their work experience in 2008 at Swanton Local Schools, where they served as the Boys Varsity Basketball Coach and later as a 7th Grade Science Teacher and Dean of Students. Matt worked at this position until July 2015. In the same year, they joined Swanton Local School District as the Swanton Middle School Principal, where they are currently serving.

Matt Smith completed their Master of Education (MEd) degree in Educational Administration and Supervision from Bowling Green State University in 2010-2012. Earlier, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Middle Childhood Education with a concentration in Science and Social Studies from The University of Toledo during 2001-2006.
