Melvin Tan

Melvin Tan has had a varied work experience spanning several companies and roles. Melvin started their career in 2000 as a Web Designer at Austral One Sdn Bhd, where they worked until 2004. Melvin then joined Sapura Technology Bhd in 2001 as a Senior Web Engineer until 2005. In 2006, they joined Brightstar Distribution Sdn Bhd as the Head of Products and Marketing, a position they held until 2014. Melvin then moved to Swap Asia in 2014, where they served as the Product Marketing Director. In 2019, they returned to Brightstar Distribution Sdn Bhd as the Interim - Head of Regional Marketing APAC, overseeing the Malaysian Marketing Lead and also serving as the APAC Marketing Lead for 12 months while covering for a maternity leave.

Melvin Tan attended the Sekolah kebangsaan taman midah from 1987 to 1992. Melvin obtained a Bachelor's degree in Multimedia from Help Institute from 1998 to 2001.
