Sharan Setty

Sharan Setty is an experienced media and public affairs professional, currently serving as Associate Editor at Swarajya since May 2022. Sharan has worked as a consultant with the G20's science secretariat (S20) at the Indian Institute of Science from December 2022 to December 2023 and as a teaching faculty at the National Institute of Advanced Studies between March 2023 and August 2023. Previous roles include columnist for Network18 Media & Investments Limited, media consultant for the Pranitha Foundation, and various positions in research and organizing, including co-founding Dialogue India, a policy-making initiative. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Geopolitics and International Relations from Manipal Academy of Higher Education, a Graduate Certificate in Public Policy from The Takshashila Institution, and a Bachelor's degree in Journalism from Christ University, Bangalore.
