Helmut Judmaier

Helmut Judmaier started their work experience as a Trainee at the Office of Government of Tirol in 1998. From there, they moved on to become a Radiation and Medical Physicist at the University Clinic of Radiotherapie in Innsbruck from 1998 to 2000. In 2000, they joined D. Swarovski KG as a Glass Physicist and worked in various roles in the Research & Development department, including Head of Physics Department from 2005 to 2013. Helmut then became the Head of Base Materials Development in the Applied Research department from 2013 to 2017. From 2017 to 2020, they served as the Head of Material & Optical Technologies in the Applied Research department. Currently, they hold the position of Head of Materials & Products, R&D at D. Swarovski KG starting from January 2021.

Helmut Judmaier earned a Master's degree in Atomic/Molecular Physics from Universität Innsbruck between 1990 and 1997. Prior to that, they attended Bundesrealgymnasium Adolf-Pichler-Platz in Innsbruck from 1981 to 1989, but did not pursue a specific degree or field of study.
