Louise Owens has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Louise started as a People Development Facilitator at Invesco Ltd. in 2002 before moving on to AIB/BNY Securities Services as a Technical Training Supervisor. In 2005, they joined J.P. Morgan as a Learning & Development Manager, where they focused on improving employee capabilities through consultation and performance measurement. During their time at J.P. Morgan, they also took on the role of Learning & Development Manager. In 2010, Owens became a Freelance Business Writer before joining Intuition Publishing Ltd. as a Financial Writer in 2012. Louise then transitioned to project management roles at Novartis, where they led a team of Project Managers, Project Specialists, and Instructional Designers. Owens later served as an Associate Director of Learning & Development at MSD before becoming a Learning Partner at UCB, where they worked on strategic capability planning and provided innovative learning solutions. Most recently, they held the position of Strategic HR & Learning Lead before being appointed as the Global Lead of Corporate Learning & Development at SWAROVSKI.

Louise Owens has a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Organisational Psychology from Birkbeck, University of London, which they obtained from 2006 to 2008. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Arts (BA Hons) degree in Economics from Trinity College Dublin from 1998 to 2002. Louise's earlier education includes attending Assumption Grammar School from 1991 to 1998, although no specific degree or field of study is mentioned for that period. In addition to their academic qualifications, Louise has obtained several certifications throughout their career, including Certified ScrumMaster® (CRM®) from Scrum Alliance®, PMP (Project Management Professional) from Project Management Institute, and a Diploma in Learning Facilitation Skills from The Training Foundation.
