John Burk

John Burk currently serves as the Assistant Vice President and Executive Director of Advancement Operations at Swarthmore College, a position held since August 2023. Prior to this role, John held various leadership positions at Haverford College from August 2013 to July 2023, including Executive Director of Gifts, Records, and Data Integrity, and Director of Gifts and Records. Additional experience includes working as a Decision Support Data Analyst at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania and as a Senior Data Management Analyst at the University of Pennsylvania. Earlier career roles encompassed positions at The University of the Arts and the Philadelphia Museum of Art, as well as a professional music career. John Burk earned a Bachelor of Music degree in Performance from Berklee College of Music.
