Scott Burgess

Scott Burgess is an accomplished audio and video engineer with extensive experience in both live performance and production environments. Currently serving as the Head Audio and Video Engineer at Swarthmore College since October 2011, Burgess oversees all technical aspects of audio and video systems at the Lang Performing Arts Center. As the owner of Scott Burgess Audio since January 2003, services provided include composing and producing music for various media formats, along with sound design and post-production audio services. Previous roles as Sound Designer/Composer at Folger Shakespeare Library, Head Audio and Video Engineer at Atlas Performing Arts Center, and Primary Audio Engineer at GVI have built a diverse portfolio that includes collaborations with notable clients such as the Philadelphia International Festival of the Arts and Ohio State University. Burgess holds a background in sound design, composition, and audio engineering, with a solid foundation from the University of North Texas.
