Sharmaine LaMar

Sharmaine LaMar has a rich history in legal and leadership roles within various educational institutions. Currently serving as a Board Member at the National Association of College and University Attorneys, Sharmaine has been holding the position of General Counsel at Swarthmore College since October 1999. With previous roles including Acting Secretary, Assistant VP for Risk Management and Legal Affairs, and Director of Equal Opportunity, as well as experience at Saint Joseph's University as the Director of Multicultural Life, Sharmaine brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to their work. Their educational background includes a B.S. in Management & Information Systems from Saint Joseph's University and a JD in Law from the University of Richmond School of Law.
