Gene Makarov

Gene Makarov's work experience begins in 2003 as a Research Intern at The Laboratory of Physical Fundamentals and Technologies of Wireless Communications Intel - NNSU, where they worked until January 2005.

In 2002, Gene Makarov joined the Institute of Applied Physics of Russian Academy of Sciences as a Researcher. Over the course of nearly 10 years, they participated in theoretical and practical investigations of nonlinear waves on the water surface. Gene 'swork included digital signal processing, remote sensing techniques, and satellite imagery data processing. Gene also took part in several scientific marine expeditions from 2003 to 2009.

From 2011 to 2016, Makarov worked as the CTO at Baseride Technologies Pte. Ltd.

In 2016, Gene Makarov became the Lead python developer at Opportunity Network, where they worked until June 2017.

Since July 2017, Makarov has been employed at SWAT - Dynamic Ridesharing Tech. Gene initially joined as a Data Analyst and later transitioned to the role of Head of Data in February 2018. The duration of their current role is unknown.

Gene Makarov obtained a PhD in Physics and Mathematics with a specialization in Radiophysics from the State University of Nizhni Novgorod named after N.I. Lobachevsky (UNN) between the years 2000 and 2009.
